A Memorial Mass for Dr. Helena Z. Benitez at Saint Malachy's Church was organized by the Philippine Consulate General New York in partnership with the Benitez family; Friends of Helena Benitez and the Philippine Women's University Alumni Association PWUAA. Rev. Erno Diaz, former chaplain of The Philippine Women's University was the main celebrant and Msgr. Oscar Aquino was co-celebrant. After the mass, there was a short program, in honor of Dr. Benitez. It was followed by an informal reception at the parish hall. August 24, 2016. New York.
