Philippine Consulate New York to Host Women Entrepreneurs’ Conference: Get Your Business Funded

New York - Following the success of 'We Empower Filipino American Women's 
Entrepreneurship Forum' held in April 2019, the Philippine Consulate General in New York has partnered with Women Entrepreneurs NYC (WE NYC), an initiative of the NYC Department of Small Business Services, in organizing the WE Master Money Conference: Get Your Business Funded which is slated on Saturday, 22 June 2019, 10:30 am - 4:00 pm, at the Philippine Center in 556 Fifth Ave., New York, New York 10036.

The one-day conference aims to give participants the tools they need to make the right moves when it comes to preparing to seek funding to start or grow their business. Participants are expected to hear and learn practical and inspirational insights from the founders of FiBrick Financial Services, SMAKK Studios, Luminoustudios, Ajoy Management Consulting, and Perfect Pitches by Precious.

The topics that will be covered include: pitching your business like a pro to get the funding you seek; exploring your funding options; strategizing to improve your personal credit to have a positive impact on your business; and understanding what lenders look for so you can set yourself up for success.

A one-on-one free credit consultations will be available throughout the day, where participants will be able to talk with a counselor and get personalized assistance on how to build, repair and improve their personal credit.

Filipino and Filipino-American women entrepreneurs or those aspiring to engage in business are invited and highly encouraged to attend this free event.
