In New York, protesters gathered outside the Philippine Consulate on Monday March 15th to rally against alleged abuses towards activists by state security forces of the Duterte administration. The demonstrators voiced their demands and calls for justice for the most recent killings and harassment from a March 7 police and military operation that resulted in 9 deaths and 6 arrests of activists in the Southern Tagalog region of the Philippines.
