ROBREDO IMPRESSES INTERVIEWER AND AUDIENCE AT ASIA SOCIETY

NEW YORK CITY - For 90 minutes, former PH Vice President Leni Gerona Robredo singlehandedly answered questions posed to her by the former US Ambassador to the PH and India, Frank Wisner, in a conversation-style dialogue on Monday December 5, at Asia Society NY.
Among the wide-ranging questions were about the Philippine relations with the US, with China and other countries in South East Asia; disinformation, fake news and trolls in the PH; and what she sees in the future for herself and the Philippines.

In a brief conversation by this writer inside the auditorium with the interviewer, Ambassador Wisner said he was impressed by former VP Robredo. "I thought she did a super job tonight," said the seasoned Ambassador.
Robredo had photo-ops with her audience, who were mostly Filipinos, after the interview. Another meeting with the FilAm community with Atty. Robredo is scheduled for Tuesday in NYC. She has other speaking engagements in colleges and universities in NY and nearby States.
