ROBREDO SPEAKS IN CAVITE FOR FIRST TIME SINCE 2022
Former Vice President Leni Gerona Robredo faced thousands of her Pink followers on Tuesday, February 11, in Cavite for the first time since the 2022 elections.
Robredo is campaigning for Francis Pangilinan and Bam Aquino for senators in the May elections.
Her speech was a "thank you" one mostly about the pleasant and happy experiences during the 2022 campaign to the excitement of her noisy audiences.
Atty. Leni repeated a Filipino saying at one point during her speech, "Kapag malalim ang pagibig, malalim din ang sugat." The former VP was obviously referring to millions of her supporters, who, even 3 years after, are still hurting because of the election defeat.
Some people in the audience were seen shedding tears. Understandable.
